According to a tweet from Evan Daniels from Thursday, 2020 superstar Jalen Green is currently on a visit to Florida State.
Green, a 6-5 junior out of California, is considered by some to be the best player in the 2020 class. He averaged north of 20 points per game at the Adidas Gauntlet this passed summer. He possesses off the charts athletic ability and has shown that he can stretch the floor as well.
According to the new recruiting rules put in place by the NCAA committee this year, Green has 10 official visits to take if he so chooses. Thus far he has visited Memphis (September 13th) and now Florida State. His offer sheet reads like a who’s who of NCAA blue ribbon programs. As of right now and strangely enough, Florida State is the only ACC school. Duke and North Carolina have apparently not offered the high flying off guard.
I have said it multiple times, I never doubt Charlton Young until it is over. He is simply one of the best recruiters in the country. That said, the last time Florida State had a player from California on its roster was Robbie Berwick in 2014-15. He played one season and transferred to Colorado State.
